The redesigned 2022 MDX houses a 290-HP V-6 engine paired to a new double-wishbone front suspension for precision cornering. Handling is further enhanced by the Integrated Dynamics System and available wider 20-in alloy wheels for adrenaline-inducing performance. Be ready for most any drive with available Super Handling All-Wheel Drive^™ (SH-AWD®) and a max towing capacity of up to 5,000 lbs.

FWD

A 290-HP V-6 mated to a quick shifting 10-speed automatic transmission delivers aggressive power and acceleration. Race through the gears with paddle shifters for a sportier drive. With up to 3,500 lbs. of towing, the 2022 MDX ambitiously takes on any adventure.

SH-AWD

Rear-biased Super Handling All-Wheel Drive^™ gives you precision control of your MDX by sending power to all four wheels. A 10-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters keep you in the torque band for power on demand. With a max towing capability of up to 5000 lbs., the MDX is engineered to perform no matter the challenge.

Handling

The new double-wishbone front suspension keeps your MDX glued to the ground with larger and wider wheels for highly responsive handling even when pushed to the limit.

Chassis

A redesigned ultra-rigid chassis and longer wheelbase work in tandem to create a more comfortable ride by reducing vibration and ambient noise. The new chassis also improves handling response and performance for a superior drive.

Steering

For a connected driving experience, variable ratio steering delivers precision control. A newly tuned electric power steering booster delivers agile handling for superior maneuverability. Firm up the steering by switching to Sport mode for a more dynamic driving experience.

A longer body and tapering cabin create a powerful stance while increasing interior space. The Chicane^™ LED DRLs flow into the pronounced beltline that follows through to the rear, giving the exterior a sense of dynamic motion.

Jewel Eye® LED headlights and Chicane^™ LED taillights illuminate the sculpted style of the MDX. The 3D light blade of the Chicane taillights adds dramatic depth to the modern precision design of the exterior.
